Irma D. Duncan

Irma D.Duncan, 96, of North Kingstown, passed away March 17, 2016. She was the wife of the late Frederick W. Duncan, Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Caroline (Padula) Ise.

Mrs. Duncan had been a bookkeeper for the former F.W. Duncan Manufacturing and had aslo worked at Astro-Med Net Inc.

She is survived by a brother Augustus Ise, step children Walter Duncan and Suzanne Carpenter, 6 grand children, 8 step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She was the mother of the late Carol Harris and Vincent and Francis Zaino and step mother of the late Frederick Duncan, III; the sister of the late Gilda Hazelwood and Viola Beard and was also predeceased by 3 grandsons.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 21st at 11:00AM at St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., North Kingstown. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours: Sunday, March 20th 4-6PM at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
