Irving J. Laprade, Jr.

79, of Biltmore Avenue, Providence, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Veterans Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Helen M. (Olsson) LaPrade. Born in Providence, a son of the late Irving J. and Edna (O'Reilly) LaPrade, he had worked for the Union Camp Company in the shipping & receiving department before retiring. He survived by son Joseph A. LaPrade, daughter Carol A. LaPrade, brother Arthur LaPrade, sister Loraine Radaiotti, and two grandchildren, Michayla & Anthony LaPrade. Services will be held Monday, June 8th at 10am from the J.F. Skeffington Chapel, 925 Chalkstone Ave., Providence. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 5-8pm. Burial with military honors will be in the Rhode Island Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
