James J. O'Neil

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James J. O'Neil born in Newport, Rhode Island on March 30, 1950 and who passed away on February 15, 2022 at the age of 71 years. "Jimmy" was a Veteran of the Vietnam war and spent the majority of his life as a commercial fisherman based out of New Bedford, Mass. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles E. O'Neil and Catherine E. O'Neil (Donovan); his surviving siblings Margaret M. "Peggy" O'Neil of Covina, CA, John O'Neil (Kay) of Carson City, NV. Loved by his siblings that passed on before him, Charles (Kathleen) of Fresno, CA, Maureen Kevan (Jack) of Farmington, CT, and William O'Neil (Elaina) of Revere, MA. Rest in Peace Jimmy.
