James Ross Sr.

James Ross Sr., born on November 9, 1958, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, surrounded by his beloved children Sarah and James and his cherished friends from his close-knit community in Skowhegan, Maine.

James was the son of the late Keith Ross Sr. and Marie Ross. Know for his generous heart and infectious sense of humor, James made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Whether it was lending a hand to someone in need or bringing laughter to a room, he lived his life with compassion , loyalty, and an unwavering commitment to those he cared about.

James leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure his memory: his son James Ross Jr. daughter Sarah Thomas and Tori Ross Smith, and his grandchildren Jaylen Ross and Cali Ross. He is also survived by his brothers Joe Ross, Steve Ross and William Ross; and his sisters Kathy Ross, Pamela Ross  and Rosemarie Ross; and is predeceased by his brothers Keith Ross Jr. and Michael Ross.

James was deeply present father, a loyal friend and a valued member of the Skowhegan community. His ability to uplift others and his lifelong dedication to helping others around him will never be forgotten.

Calling hours to celebrate Jame's life will be held on Wednsday July 9th from 4pm to 6pm at the Skeffington funeral Home and Cremations 925 Chalkstone Avenue Providence, RI 02908.
