James Sweetman

James Sweetman 72, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully in North Providence on

December 12, 2925. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of Alfred and Fern (Drown)

Laplume. He is survived by 5 siblings. Alfred Sweetman (Barbara), Dianne Souza, Peggy

Ambeault, Deb Sweetman (Joe) and Donna Crothers. Also many many nieces/nephews

and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Fisher (John) and

his brother John C. Sweetman (Lisa). Jimmy was a US Army Veteran serving from 1971 until

1977 at Fort Hood in Texas and Fort McClellan in Alabama. Calling hours are respectfully

omitted, and burial will be private at the request of the family.
