James C. Wheeler, Jr.

James C. Wheeler, Jr unexpectedly left this world on Thursday, December 29 ^th at the age of 44. He was born on March 24 ^th , 1978, in Warwick, Rhode Island. He was a lifelong resident of Rhode Island. Jim was married to the love of his life Brooke Wheeler for the last seven years. They were proud dog parents to Hank, their beloved black lab. Jim was a devoted dog dad who spent nights being chased around the house during the zoomies. Many people knew Jim in many different roles, running a golf course and managing a restaurant, but at the age of 35, Jim joined the Local 99 IBEW as a union electrician. It was his proudest accomplishment, and he was a beloved employee of K Electric in Warwick. Jim’s smile and big hugs will be missed by many; he was always ready with a dad joke and a laugh.

Jim is survived by his wife, Brooke (Luciano), and his dog Hank. He leaves behind his parents Marybeth Nichols, James C. Wheeler, and his stepmother Cheryl Wheeler. He is survived by his grandmother, Alice Wheeler. His sisters Tracy (Wheeler) Williamson, Brother-in-law Ben Williamson, and Melissa Wheeler. Jim was a wonderful son-in-law to Debbie Luciano and brother-in-law to his extended family Liza Luciano, Alex, and Andrew Ciccolella. He loved being an uncle to Ella, Charlotte, and Graham.

Funeral Service Saturday, January 7 ^th at 11:00am at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00am to 11:00am.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope Health Hospice and Palliative Care.
