Janet B. LaPoint

Janet B. LaPoint, 95, passed away June 17, 2026. She is survived by her husband of 75 years Felix LaPoint, Jr. Born in Boston, MA she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Marjorie (Baker) Stewart.

She worked at the University of Rhode Island for many years retiring as a supervisor.

Besides her husband she is survived by three children, Gail LaPoint, Karen Lufkin and Nancy DelPrete; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Shirley Anderson and Buddy Stewart.
