Janice A. Christensen

Janice A. (Lacasse) Christensen, LPN, 78, of Warwick, passed away February 22, 2017. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late William and Janet (Forget) Lacasse.

Mrs. Christensen was a 1958 graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing, retiring as a LPN for the State of Rhode Island. She enjoyed spending time in Nantucket.

She joins her beloved dog Abbey in eternal rest.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Carolyn Joy Flynn and Jodi Ann Gaccione, grandchildren; Liz, Catherine, Josh, Krista, Jared and Adrianna, brothers, Donald and William Lacasse, nieces, nephews and loving God-daughter Alicia Wells-Smith.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 16th at 10:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church Cowesett Rd., Warwick. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the East Greenwich Animal Protection League, PO Box 184, East Greenwich, RI 02818.
