Janice E. Harrison

Janice E. Harrison, 59, of Providence, passed away May 4, 2016. Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of Elaine V. (Hitte) Spencer and the late Robert R. Spencer.

Mrs. Harrison was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. She loved gardening and cooking and always tried to help others, even if it was a just telling a joke or two.

Besides her mother she is survived by her brother Robert R. Spencer and his wife Pauline, her sister Meredith A. Sargent and her husband Thomas, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be Thursday, May 12th at 7:00pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Visitation prior to the service from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the East Greenwich Animal Protection League.
