Janice B. Ruggieri

Janice B. Ruggieri, 76, of Venice, FL and formerly of East Greenwich, passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 5, 2023.  She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Richard P. Ruggieri.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William and Faith (Brown) Drury.

S he had been a L.P.N at various medical facilities.  Janice was loving and had a sense of humor that made everyone smile and she enjoyed being with family and friends.  She was active in her childrens’ activities as well as her grandchildrens’.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her devoted children Michelle Morris (Brian), Richard, Jr., and David Ruggieri (Sherry); grandchildren Kaylee and Braden Morris, Jake and Jackson Ruggieri; siblings William and Jeffrey Drury and Cynthia Overstreet and the late Steven, David and Thomas Drury.

Funeral Tuesday, January 10 ^th at 9:00am from the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., East Greenwich.  Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Calling hours:  Monday, January 9 ^th 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
