Celebrating the Life of Jean-Paul Huot (JP)
It is with deep sadness but hearts full of gratitude for a life well-lived that we share the passing of Jean-Paul “JP” Huot, 49, of Providence, RI, on December 27, 2024. A devoted spouse, loving parent, and cherished friend, JP's legacy is a testament to the joy, kindness, and passion he brought to every facet of life.
Born with an innate love for people, JP turned his passion into a meaningful career, serving as a Director of Human Resources and a proud member of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management). In every role he held, JP exemplified empathy, leadership, and a steadfast commitment to helping others thrive.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, JP found his greatest joy in traveling and exploring the world, creating treasured memories with his beloved spouse, Caleb Flook, and their three incredible children: Braeden Huot, Cooper Huot, and Makenna Huot. He also had a special love for their two cats, Echo and Avery, whose playful companionship brought him so much happiness. Whether planning family adventures, hosting lively gatherings with friends, or simply savoring quiet moments at home, JP's heart was always full when surrounded by those he loved.
JP’s life was a beautiful tapestry of compassion, curiosity, and connection. He had a knack for making everyone feel seen, valued, and cared for—an extraordinary gift that enriched the lives of all who knew him. His vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering positivity will forever remain in our hearts.
In keeping with JP’s wishes, there will be no services. To honor his memory, donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where JP received exceptional care, ensuring his life was lived to the fullest.
