Joan C. Malenfant

Joan C. Malenfant, 82, passed away January 1, 2018. Born in Newport she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Alice (Anderson) Heron.

Joan worked as an administrative assistant for the State of Rhode Island. She was a member of the YMCA Knitting Club and the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by four children Stephen Malenfant and his wife Darlene, Kevin Malenfant, Lisa Archambault and her husband Paul and Lori Fahey and her husband Sean; seven grandchildren and eight grandchildren and a brother John P. Heron.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday January 20th from 2-5 pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.
