John Patrick Butler Iii

John Patrick Butler III, age 45, of Providence, RI passed away unexpectedly on October 16th, 2022. He is survived by his father John P. Butler Jr. and his partner Michelle P. Pyatt of Providence & Cranston, R.I. His late mother Lillian A. (Thayer) Butler. His step-father Robert H. Knight of South Boardman, MI. His wife Stephanie M. MacLeish of Weymouth, MA. Two beloved daughters Jessica M. and Jasmine E. Butler of Brockton, MA. Three brothers Thomas E. Butler of Middleboro MA, Robert R. Knight and his wife Kristin L. Knight of Taunton MA, Jake H. Knight and his fiance Samantha A. MacLeish of South Boardman MI. Many nieces and nephews & his best friend Steve Clark of Brockton, MA. He was a transportation driver for VHS Transportation Company in Easton, MA for many years. He graduated from Silver Lake Regional High School in Kingston, MA. He loved watching sports, especially while arguing with his father. He also loved watching football and arguing over favorite teams. His daughters were the most important piece of his life! He will be sorely missed beyond measure. Services entrusted to the J.F. Skeffington Funeral Home and Cremations in Providence, R.I. Services will be private.
