John H. Stouffer

John H. Stouffer of East Greenwich, RI, formerly of Hingham, MA died March 19, 2016. He was 88. Beloved husband of Caroline, and loving father of Mallary and Douglas Stouffer, he was a science teacher in the Milton and Hingham High Schools for more than two decades.

He was also an avid sailor interested in all things nautical. He was active in politics and in 1976 appeared on the Massachusetts and other state presidential primary ballots as the Vice-Presidential running-mate for Democrat Eugene McCarthy.

His funeral and burial will be private.
