Jorge L. Galindo

Jorge L. Galindo, 40, a lifelong resident of Providence, RI, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Jorge was a very devoted father of two sons: Jorge L Galindo Jr. (12) and Johan L Galindo (7). Jorge worked as a cook throughout most of his adult life at multiple local restaurants and also as a security guard at hospitals and events.   Jorge was known to be a generous person to friends and family. He would always help a person in need. Jorge’s personality was a laid back person with a good sense of humor. In his teenage years he enjoyed being a football player and later on was a big fan of the Miami Dolphins. Music was also a big part of his life and he would often listen to music and loved to dance. He is survived by his mother Maria Galindo, two sons Jorge and Johan Galindo, sister Sussy Galindo and niece and nephew. Services will be held this Tuesday, November 16th  at the J. F. Skeffington Funeral Home and Cremations, 925 Chalkstone Ave., Providence, RI from 10 AM to 1PM. Burial will be held at Pocasset Cemetery at 417 Dyer Avenue, Providence, RI 02920 at 1:30pm.
