Joseph B. Resch, Jr.

Joseph B. Resch, Jr., 98, of East Greenwich, passed away March 25, 2017. He was the husband of the late Evelyn (Burghardt) Resch and the former husband of Mildred (Forsberg) Resch. Born in Springfield, IL, he was a son of the late Joseph B. Resch, Sr. and Margaret (Horn) Resch.

Mr. Resch retired at age 88 as Vice President from Metlon Corp. and had a love for sailing.

He is survived by his son Joseph B. Resch, III and his wife Cynthia and daughter Pamela R. Tarbell; his grandchildren: Bethany Tarbell, Eaton W. Tarbell, III, Myles G.W. Tarbell, Margaret T. Clatlenburg, Jeffrey D. Resch, Jason K. Resch, Steven J. Resch, Kayla M. Resch, Michael J. Forrest and Paige T. Forrest, 6 great grandchildren; three step sons: Wayne Forrest and his wife Kathleen, Robert Forrest and his wife Sherianne, and Brian Forrest and his fiance Katie Ferrara. He was the brother of the late David J. Resch.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 30th at 11:00am at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Camp Canonicus, 54 Exeter Rd., Exeter, RI 02822
