Joseph M. Silvia, Iii

Joseph M. Silvia, III, 70, of Warwick and formerly of East Greenwich, passed away August 6, 2017. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph M. and Blanche D. (LaRose) Silvia.

Mr. Silvia had worked as a welder at Amtrol and was a US Air Force Vietnam veteran.

He is survived by his son Joseph M. Silvia, IV and his wife Amy; granddaughters Megan Cordeiro and her husband Joseph and Elisha Silvia; great grandchildren Zackary, Eli and Ryile; a sister Judith A. Silvia and his dog Ginger.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, August 9th at 12:00pm at Glenwood Cemetery, East Greenwich. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org
