Juan C. Torres

Juan C. Torres, a devoted husband, and loving father/grandfather died unexpectedly on July 30th at the age of 76. Juan is survived by his wife Carmen; his children Marilyn, Juan, and Melvin; his grandchildren Michael, Jose, Louis Michael, David, Vanessa, Alex, Gabriela; and his great-grandchild Jose. Juan was a strong man who would always go out of his way to help others in need. Whether that be his local church or his children seeking advice. He never wanted anyone to know he was in pain and just wanted to elevate the lives of those around him. Juan enjoyed life and loved being around people. He loved his native Puerto Rico and missed it dearly. Juan was at home when he was with his family, talking, laughing, or just listening to music. He always made sure that he was dressed nicely, with a hat and shades. A funeral service is scheduled for 9:30 am on Wednesday, August 5th at Skeffington funeral home located on 925 Chalkstone Ave, Providence, RI. All are welcome to reminisce and celebrate the life of a great man who was loved by all. Flowers are greatly appreciated, as are donations to the Arthritis Foundation in Juan's name.Â
