Kathryn "Kathy" A. Spisso

Kathryn "Kathy" A. Spisso (Giordano) 80, formerly of Forked River, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026. Born in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Agnes (Shumsky) and John Giordano, and grew up in South Plainfield, NJ.

Beloved wife of 58 years to Ernest Spisso, Kathy was a devoted mother to Terri (Daten Cohen) Spisso and Debra (Vincent) Ucci, both of Providence, RI. She was the cherished "Mema" of Zeke and Jonah Cohen and Leo and Vivienne Ucci. She also leaves behind her dear sister-in-law, Carol Yurinko, and many close cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved her dearly.

Kathy was a partner in Loveladies Marina on Long Beach Island for many years and worked for the Van Dyk Agency for over 20 years before retiring.

She had a warm and generous spirit, always ready to cook a meal for a friend in need and known for her gift of making everyone feel welcome and included. She leaves behind too many close friends and neighbors to mention by name.
