Kevin J. Langton

Kevin J. Langton of Exeter, RI and Lake Worth, Florida passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 in Florida. Born in Providence he was the son of the late James & Mary Langton. Surviving is his brother Christopher Langton of Smithfield. Kevin was an installation and repair technician for Verizon Corp for over 20 years and is a proud member of IBEW Local 2222. His pride of service in the United States Marine Corps and Veteran of the Viet Nam War, motivated him to be a lifelong contributor and volunteer to many military and veteran organizations. He was a member of numerous American Legion and VFW Posts here in RI and also Florida. He was a member of the East Greenwich Volunteer Fire Association. Kevin loved nothing more than the freedom to be on the open road on his “Chopper” going from place to place and seeing old friends and making new ones wherever he went. A visitation will be held Sunday, June 5th from 6:00-8:00pm in the J.F. Skeffington Funeral Home and Cremations, 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Monday June 6 at 10am in St Pius Church, Eaton Street, Providence followed by burial in RI Veterans Cemetery Exeter with full Military Honors.
