Lawrence N. Shelton

Lawrence N. Shelton, 68, of Coventry, passed away April 4, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Margaret M. (Kelly) Shelton. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Samuel W. and Frances J. (LeBlanc) Shelton.

Mr. Shelton had been employed for 38 years at NEPTCO, Inc. He was a graduate of Bryant College and an Air Force Vietnam Veteran. He was an avid golfer and Red Sox and New York Giants fan. He had coached Warwick baseball teams for 28 years and loved attending his grandsons’ sport events.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children: Stephen R. Shelton and his wife Stephanie and Kristen L. Shelton; grandsons: Shawn, Sylas and Samuel Shelton; and siblings: Jack W. Shelton and Janice L. Feragne.

His funeral will be private.
