Lois M. Briggs

Lois M. Briggs, 88, passed away October 18, 2021. She was the wife of the late Edward Briggs. Born in North Kingstown she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Nellie (Kelly) Pierce.

Lois so loved her sweet precious dog Pixie, and had been very active and competitive in her favorite things such as GOLF and bowling, real and wii game.  She loved playing guitar and singing. She was in the band Luv-N-Country for over 10 years. Lois and her daughter Linda were known as RI Judds. Described by many as the "Energizer Bunny", she was loved by many.  Lois loved her time working at Home Depot and prior to that as a bus monitor.

She is survived by her daughter Linda M. Leslie (Gary), a step daughter Ardis Hagenburg; a grandson Eric Hagenburg; three great grandchildren Anthony Boucher, Bodhi Whitford and Austin Whitford; siblings Kip Pierce, Roger Pierce, Toni Mumford, Carol Andrew and Kimberly Vincent. She was the grandmother of the late Harry and Chad Whitford and the sister of the late Donnie Pierce and Elaine Gardiner.

Memorial service will be celebrated on Tuesday November 2 ^nd at 11:00 am at Living Hope Christian Church, 730 South County Trail, North Kingstown.
