Lynne M. Dean

Lynne M. Dean, 62, passed away March 3, 2025. Born in Manchester, CT she was a daughter of the late Richard H. and Jeanne (Giffin) Wright.

To know her, truly was to love her. She always seemed to find the balance in life, accomplished yet humble, collegial yet independent. Lynne was a record setting softball player (Bryant University 84’), Rock N Roll enthusiast, and a selfless soul who put the care of her loved ones above all else. She was a dedicated, proud mother and friend who was very excited to have recently become a grandmother. Her enjoyment for the little things in life, especially the beauty of her surroundings, made every day a positive one. Her strength,  courageousness, and determination that carried her through life helped her graciously navigate her final battle, right to the very end.

She is survived by her daughter Spencer Wolf and husband Austin Wolf, son Ross Dean, sister Karen Wright and partner Shelly Pfeil, brother Dan Wright and grandson Leyton Wolf.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday March 10, 2025  10:00 am at St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Rd., Warwick. Burial will be private.

A celebration of Lynne’s life will be held Sunday March 9th at Quidnessett Country Club from 2-6pm.
