Margaret Jane Ashley

Margaret( Peggy) was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend whose life was centered around family, laughter, and togetherness. As a single mother raising four boys, she showed incredible strength, dedication, and unconditional love every single day. She worked hard to provide for her family and created a home filled with warmth, resilience, and memories her children will cherish forever.

Margaret found joy in the simple things that brought people together. She loved listening to oldies music, enjoying meals at her favorite restaurants, and spending time surrounded by those she loved most. Some of her happiest moments were sitting around the table playing High Low cards with her boys, laughing, joking, and creating traditions that became treasured family memories.

Margaret will be remembered for her strength, generosity, sense of humor, and the deep love she gave to her family. Her legacy lives on through her four boys, her grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 7 PM. Visiting hours will begin at 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the SKEFFINGTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION 925 Chalkstone Avenue Providence, RI 02908.
