Margaret E. Mcgovern

96, formerly of Greenfield Ave., No. Providence passed away Monday, June 27, 2016. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Peter J. and Mary K. (Darcy) McGovern. Margaret had worked as a bookkeeper for the former Wigwam Auto. Co. She was a resident of North Providence since 1927 and her family was founding members of St. Augustine Church, where she was a member of its Rosary and Altar Society. Surviving is a niece Patricia A. Sprague, two nephews Robert M. and William F. Hill. Margaret was a sister of the late Mary C. McGovern and Barbara A. Hill. Visiting hours in the J.F. Skeffington Chapel, 925 Chalkstone Ave., Providence, Thursday 8-9 am followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence at 10 am.
