Maria D. (Canita) Valentin

47, passed away early morning on May 25, 2019. Maria was a beautiful woman inside and out loved by everyone who met her. She was a woman of many talents and great creativity. Such a strong woman who fought many battles but ultimately lost to asthma and the many complications that came along with this condition. Maria is survived by her mother (Delia Rivera), Daughter (Tiffany Torres), Granddaughter (Leila Torres-Lopes) siblings (Ivelisse Rodriguez, Miguel Valentin), spouse (Edwin Greene) and an unmentionable amount of family and friends. A memorial for Maria will be held at Skeffington Funeral Home at 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence RI, 02908 on Sunday June 2nd from 3pm - 5pm.
