Maria (Karlsdottir) Engley

50, of West Warwick, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 after a short battle with cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald A. Engley, two children, Ari, and Hallfriður (Heddy), and brothers, Davor and Davíð. Born in Reykjavík, Iceland, María moved to West Warwick in 1997 and was a longtime CLA for the State of Rhode Island. She was known for her wit, attention to detail, and warm, healing spirit. A wake will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 2:00-4:00pm in the J. F. Skeffington Funeral Home, 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, and is open to anyone whose life was touched by her. The funeral service will be kept private. Please omit flowers.
