Marie E. Maher

of Bennington Road, Cranston, RI passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home. Marie was born in Providence, a daughter of the late William C. & Madeline T. (Manz) Maher. She had been a resident of Cranston most of her life and had worked for Atlantic Richfield Co. in the Administration Department. Marie graduated from R.I. College in 1984 with a B.A. in English and also attended Providence College and University College of Dublin. She was a member of The Legion of Mary of St. Mark Church and The Irish Georgian Society. She was the Sister of the late Madeline M. Gerli and William C. Maher, Jr. and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 21, 2013 at St. Mark Church, 15 Garden Court, Cranston, RI at 10:00am to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours and Flowers are omitted.
