The soul of Marilyn (Novak) Eddy of Warwick, age 95, moved onto its heavenly home on July 2nd. She was predeceased by her husband Warren, her 3 brothers, and her son Keith. She is survived by her daughter Marsha and her son Donald and his wife, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren all of whom she dearly loved. She found great joy in the company of her many beloved nieces and nephews along with her friends, many of whom she had known for long periods of time. She was proud of her time spent as Executive Secretary at the Providence Housing Authority. Marilyn was a woman of great faith and a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. She endured many challenges in her adult life and dealt with them with fierce determination, a loving heart,, quiet dignity, and an endearing smile and sense of humor. She was especially proud of her home and her beloved yard and gardens and had resided in that home for over 60 years. The family wishes to thank the staff at Brentwood Nursing Home for the care and compassion Marilyn was shown over the past year. If desired, a donation in her memory should be made to a local food bank as she felt strongly that no one should be hungry. Graveside services will be held on Saturday July 13th at 11AM at All Saints Cemetery at 355 Greenwich Ave. in Warwick.
