Marjorie M. Marrinan

Marjorie Marrinan, 80, of East Greenwich died peacefully on January 20, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Marrinan. She was born to the late Bertil E.F. and Roberta (Haid) Miller on April 28, 1936.

She enjoyed gardening, baking, lunch with friends, and spending time with her grandchildren and offshore fishing with her late husband RJ. She was passionate about her family. She had a kind generous caring nature about her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters Maryanne Duke and Susan Carlson; granddaughters Alexandra Duke, Mackenzie Carlson and Kendall Duke; sisters Diane Boezi and Denise Trainor and leaves behind her sister in law Dorothy Miller who was like a sister to her and numerous nieces and nephews, loving relatives and close friends. She was the sister of the late Marilyn Aase, Robert, Bert, Jr., Jerry and Carl Miller.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third St., East Greenwich. Burial will be private. Calling hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904. .
