Marjorie (LaChapelle) Reynolds 90 of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025. She was born in Bangor, ME, to the late A. Edward and Marjorie (Murphy) LaChapelle. At the age of eight, she moved to Rhode Island, where she built a life filled with love, service, and devotion to her family and community.

Marjorie  was a proud graduate of Elmhurst in Providence and St. Elizabeth’s University in Convent Station, New Jersey. She dedicated her career to helping others as a social worker for the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth, and Families for 35 years.

A gifted and passionate quilter, she created many cherished quilts for her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, playing golf, swimming, and cooking meals that brought her family together. Narragansett Town Beach held a special place in her heart, and she spent countless joyful days there with her children and grandchildren.

Marjorie is predeceased by her husband James and brother Charles LaChapelle. Marjorie is survived by her three children: Michelle Golda (the late David Golda) of Warwick; James (Alicia) of Rumford; and Marybeth Campellone (Paul) of East Greenwich.
