Mary V. Bouthillier

Mary V. Bouthillier, 92, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday June 5, 2021. She was the wife of the late Henry M. “Hank” Bouthillier. Born in West Warwick she was a daughter of the late Carmine and Assunta (Lautieri) Tomasso.

Mary was beloved by all who knew her. She was an active community and church volunteer. In her more than 35 years as a Teaching Assistant for the North Kingstown School Department, she was well respected by staff and students alike. She loved nothing better than getting family together, organizing a yearly family reunion at Goddard Park. Mary had a knack for providing comfort to all in need, a genuine friend. She had many titles, but her favorite was Guy B., the name she was called by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Diane Henault and her husband Dennis, Brian Bouthillier and his wife Mary and Judy Smith and her husband Kevin, eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two sisters Rita DiCaprio and Angela Carey. She was the sister of the late Michael, Ralph, Domenic and John Tomasso, Rose St. Jean, Ann Levesque, Florence Rogers.

Funeral Friday June 11 ^th at 11:00 am from the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich with a Mass of Christian Burial at Noon at St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., North Kingstown. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours: Thursday June 10 ^th from 4-7 pm.
