Mary Hallene

Mary Hallene, 77, of East Greenwich, passed away March 4, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.    She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Donald R. Hallene, Sr.  Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late John Resendes and Mary Rosa (Tarvis).

Mrs. Hallene worked as a CNA in the private sector and at Kent Hospital.  Mary was a devoted member and passed Grand Matron of Adah Chapter #15, Eastern Star.  She loved bingo, bowling and traveling.

Besides her husband, she is survived by 9 children:  Amanda McGannon and her husband Jim, Deborah Masser and her husband Bill, Donald Jr. and his wife Mary, Marsha Kelly and her husband Ron, Jess Massey-Hallene and her wife Cathi, Diane Vigneau and her husband Paul, Linda Lackman and her husband Tom, Melissa Kerns and her husband Forrest and Jeff Hallene and his wife Amy; grandchildren: Brandi, Steve, Courtney, Matthew, Stephanie, Donald III, Tara, Nick, Kiera, Eddie, Lauren, David, Paul Jr., Kianna, Alex, Hannah, Sarah, Isaac, Jacen and Ethan; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by 5 siblings.

Her funeral will be private.  Calling hours:  Sunday, March 10 ^th 4-7pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Crossroads Women’s Shelter, 156 Beach Ave., Warwick, RI 02889
