Mary Ann (Mccaughey) Kaveny

77, of Rosemont Avenue in Pawtucket passed away Tuesday May 2, 2017 in Pawtucket Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late John P. Kaveny. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Anna F. ( Wilbur) McCaughey. Mary Ann worked for the Pawtucket School Dept. as a teacher at Potter Burns Elementary School for 45 years and was a past President of the Pawtucket Teachers Alliance. She was a lector and Eucharistic Minister of the former Sacred Heart Church. Surviving is her sister-in-law Norma McCaughey and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John McCaughey. A mass of Christian Burial Monday at 10am in Holy Family Parish, 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket. Relatives and Friends are invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7pm in the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux and Son Funeral Home, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements under the direction of the J. F. Skeffington Chapel.
