Mary S. (Salzillo) Tomasso

100, of Vernan Street, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015. She was the wife of the late John A. Tomasso. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late  Carmillo and Angelina (Madalena) Sazillo. Mrs. Tomasso was employed by the Monet Jewelery Company as an assembler. Surviving are her children Viola, John, Robert, and Ronald Tomasso, Linda Lombardi, Debra Matera, Patricia Brown. She was the sister of Olga Peters and 30 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren. Mary was the mother of the late Loretta Seal and Richard Tomasso. She was the sister of the late Dora Rastella, William (Bill) Sazillo, Louise Parillo, Dave and Vincent Sanzillo, Rose Tomasso, Viola Masterstefano, Jenny Pesce, Edward Sazillo, and Anna Davis. Visiting hours in the J.F. Skeffington Chapel, 925 Chalkstone Avenue on Monday from 6-8pm. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church, 72 Atwells Ave., Providence on Tuesday at 10:00am. Burial will be in St Ann's Cemetery, Cranston RI.
