Maureen L. Gallogly

Maureen L. Gallogly, age 68, passed away into the arms of her Lord and Savior on January 13, 2025, after losing her battle to lung cancer. She was the daughter of Patrick and Marie Gallogly and graduated from Cranston East High School. After graduation, she joined the United States Navy and served her country for over 18 years.

She is survived by her sister Frances (Lawrence), sister Kathleen Travis, and her brother Shawn Gallogly. She was predeceased by her brother Patrick J. Gallogly, Jr. BUDDY. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who called her the “cool aunt”, especially her nephew Patrick with whom she lived.

It is extremely noteworthy to recognize the extraordinary team of women in the Care New England HEMATOLOGY/ONCOLOGY UNIT in Cranston. Their care and concern for Maureen during her illness was beyond exceptional. Many thanks also go to her team of doctors whom she relied on. Although her stay was very short, we are also grateful to the Hope Health Hospice staff.

A private burial with military honors will be held in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
