Megan "Megz" Marie Serafine will continue to be a light in the lives of every single person blessed to have come along her path. She was born to Kathy Hughes Cotter and Marc Serafine on January 3, 1987, in St. Petersburg, Florida, and she left this earthly plane on November 7, 2023, in Providence. She joins her late mother, late brother Jay, and fur babies Bandit and Zappa. She is survived by her father, her partner Matthew “Sage” Dotson, her step-father Patrick Cotter, her two step-brothers Nick and Cory Cotter, her fur baby Sera, and all those who loved her dearly and considered her family – of whom there were many.
Megz was an old soul who oozed creativity and supported others in everything she did. She was passionate about cooking, working in numerous kitchens both in Florida and Rhode Island where she made many friends in the industry and often hosted private dinner parties. She was interested in many creative activities, including painting and fabricating scented candles.
