Miguel Antonio Rezendes

Miguel Rezendes, a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, September 25, 2026.

Miguel was born on April 10, 1965, and was the beloved son of the late Mary Rezendes.

He was a loving father to his three sons, Andre Applegate, Nathan Applegate, and Tyler Applegate, all of Providence, Rhode Island.

Miguel was a proud grandfather to Jalen, Grayson, and Sophia. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and the love he shared with them will remain a cherished part of their lives.

He is survived by his brothers, Joseph Fortes, Ernest Rezendes, Anthony Rezendez, Richard Rezendez, and Ronald Rezendez.

Miguel was preceded in death by his siblings, Juvenal Rezendez, Henry Rezendez, Steven Rezendez, Joyce Dublin, and Kimberly JoAnn Rezendez.

Miguel will be remembered for his unique laugh, his silly self, and the personality that made him unmistakably Miguel. He had a way of bringing laughter, joy, and life into the lives of the people around him. Those who knew and loved him will forever carry memories of his laughter, his jokes, his quirks, and the special moments that made him who he was.

He leaves behind his children, grandchildren, brothers, extended family, and friends who will miss him deeply. Although he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on through the people who knew him best.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 2:30pm in the Holy Temple Church, 68 Althea St., Providence, RI with a Repass to follow at 4pm in the Fireman's Club, 92 Printery St, Providence, RI.
