Nancy Ann (Lambert) Skipworth

80, died on Tuesday with her family by her side. Born in Providence, RI on January 15, 1936 to Cecile Lambert, she was a retiree of John Hope Day Care. During the 80 years of her life she was a woman of many talents. A do-it-yourself type of person with a strong sense of independence and integrity. A hard worker who at times worked two jobs to support her 8 kids, and although there were hard times, she had a lot of room in her heart. Nancy opened her door to numerous children in their time of need and never was short of love. Nancy leaves behind to celebrate her life, her biological children Donna Lambert, Wilmington, DE, Cheryl Skipworth, Pensacola Florida, Fred and Richard Skipworth, Houston Texas, Brian Skipworth, Newport News, VA, Frances and Andreza Skipworth, Providence, RI and Fawn (Skipworth) Gobern of Warwick, RI; four honorary children John Carpenter, Jason and Ajaalmar Lopes and Lynette Gibbs. 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of a memorial service the family will honor her wishes and privately spread her ashes in the Barrington/Bristol area
