Nancy R. Langlais

Nancy R. Langlais, 75, passed away October 17, 2024. She was the wife of George L. Langlais. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Vincent A., Jr. and Rita D. (McConaghy) O’Reilly.

Nancy graduated from Cranston East High School in 1966. Following graduation she worked for BB Greenberg Jewelry Manufacturing. Nancy worked for the former Duncan Phyfe Restaurant in Cranston for many years until she and husband George purchased the former Talk of the Town Bar & Lounge in Providence, which they operated until their retirement.    She loved cooking for her family and spending time in the garden.

Besides her husband she is survived by three siblings, James O’Reilly, Christopher O’Reilly and Gail Campbell; two step children David Langlais and Susan Chisholm and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Vincent O’Reilly, III, Brian O’Reilly and Terrence O’Reilly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 26th at 11:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., North Kingstown. Burial will be private Calling hours: Friday October 25th will be held from 4-6 pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.
