Nina V. Mariani

Nina V. Mariani, 95, of North Kingstown and formerly of Connecticut, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2017. She was the wife of the late Alfred Mariani. Born in Waterford, CT, she was a daughter of the late Ira A. and Addie E. (Keeney) Edwards.

Mrs. Mariani enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid gardener.

She is survived by a daughter Carol A. Sullivan and her husband James, a son Michael A. Mariani and his wife Susan, grandchildren; Patrick and Sean Sullivan and Kelsey and Lucas Mariani and a sister Daisy J. Winters. She was preceded in death by 9 siblings: Laura L. Bezanson, Elsie J. Brewster, Irene G. Johnson, Lottie E. Bliven, Arthur C. Edwards, Ira P. Edwards, Giles G. Edwards, Edith M. Alger-Gniazdowski and Herbert D. Edwards.

Committal will be Tuesday, February 14th at 10:30am at the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation will be prior to the Committal from 9-10am at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St. East Greenwich.
