Normand C. Paquin

Normand C. Paquin, 92, formerly of East Greenwich, passed away July 17, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Gertrude A. (Belanger) Paquin. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Leo and Dehlia (Girard) Paquin.

Mr. Paquin was a general manager for the former Weatherking Pools in East Greenwich and Window Fashions in Providence and was a WWII Navy veteran. He enjoyed fishing and camping and was very active in Social Sam Camping Club.

He loved his family.

Besides his wife he leaves his children: Jeanne G. Mirandou and her husband Joseph, David M. Paquin and his wife Wendy and John P. Paquin and 5 grandchildren: Tyler, Danielle, Ashley, Carly and Jacob. He was the father of the late Rachel P. Daigneault and brother of the late Clemence Blanchet.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 22nd at 9:15am at St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Rd., Warwick. Burial with military honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours: Thursday, July 21st 4-7pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.
