Pastor Linda M. Whitaker

Pastor Linda M. Whitaker passed away peacefully Wednesday morning surrounded by her loving family at Hope Health Hospice on North Main Street in Providence.

Pastor Linda 68 born in Suffolk Virginia. The daughter of the late Robert Whitaker and Pastor Helen Tate Whitaker. She was a dedicated Pastor of St Paul’s Holiness for over 15 years and a compassionate nurse having earning her nursing degree in 1996. For nearly three decades. Linda devoted herself to her unwavering commitment  caring for others working in various nursing homes throughout Massachusetts. Linda cherished her role as a Pastor , mom and friend to many and spending time with her loved ones. Her warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving son Treavon Whitaker of Providence who remains a testament to her compassion and caring.

She leave a long time companion Charles Green, grandchildren Treavon Whitaker Jr. and grand daughter Thyir Whitaker brothers Rufus Pittman of Providence, Stanley Whitaker of Providence and the late Robert Whitaker of Providence, sisters Helen Artis of Pawtucket, the late Constance Whitaker and Hattie Whitaker of Pawtucket.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours Friday August 29th from 9:30 to 11:00 followed by a service at Skeffington Funeral Home and Cremations 925 Chalkstone Avenue Providence then proceeding for burial in North Burial Ground Cemetery Branch Avenue Providence
