Patricia R. Corrigan

Patricia R. (Mitchell) Corrigan, 79, of East Greenwich, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday March 27, 2017 at her home in East Greenwich of 46 years. She was the beloved wife of John J. Corrigan. Born in Providence on April 29, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Charles P. Mitchell, Sr. and Edna M. Mitchell (Burns).

She is survived by her loving children, Michael J. Corrigan of East Greenwich, Timothy J. Corrigan, of Bartlett, New Hampshire, Maryann Doran and her husband Bill of Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland, Maureen Migneault and her husband David of Coventry, and Danial T. Corrigan of East Greenwich; four grandchildren, Diane Perretta, Joseph J. Doran, Alissa DiChiara and Erica Migneault. She was the sister of Mary Nicholas of St. James, NY, Charles P. Mitchell, Jr. of Cranston and Thomas F. Mitchell, Sr. of Warwick. She was the sister of the late John F. Mitchell, Sr.

Pat graduated from St. Mary Academy, Bay View in East Providence. She worked as a Homemaker raising her five children. Pat also served as a volunteer for many years at the Ronald McDonald House, McCauley House and Amos House, all in Providence. She was a communicant and served on various committees at Our Lady of Mercy Church and school in East Greenwich.

Pat will always be remembered for her sense of humor, beautiful smile and her bright, blue eyes, which sparkled even in her last days.

Funeral Friday April 7th at 9:00 am from the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main Street, East Greenwich with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 65 Third Street, East Greenwich. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Greenwich. Calling hours: Thursday April 6th from 4-7pm.
