Patricia Rose (Lynch) Carroll

passed away unexpectedly at the Miriam Hospital on Sunday, February 18th. She was the loving wife of Joseph F. Carroll for 52 years. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose Ellen Lynch of Carrickduff, County Longford, Ireland. Patricia enjoyed gardening, cooking, trips to the beach and spending time with her loving grandchildren. She especially enjoyed events at The Irish Ceilidhe Club of Rhode Island with her friends and family members. Patricia was particularly proud of the fact that she was born on St. Patrick's Day in Ireland. She enjoyed ALL THINGS IRISH. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her loving son, John; and adored grandchildren, Liam and Sean Carroll; her siblings: Mel Lynch of Providence, Margaret Morris of New Hampshire, May McCarthy and Betty Hardiman of Ireland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings, Michael lynch, Bryan Lynch and Ann O'Rourke - all of Ireland. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at St Pius Church, Eaton Street, Providence at 10:00 am, Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday evening from 4-7 PM at the J.F. Skeffington Funeral Home, Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St Pius Church, Eaton Street, Providence would be greatly appreciated.
