Paul W. Whyte

Paul W. Whyte, 78, of North Providence, passed away October 12th in Cape Canaveral, Florida. He was the husband of Deborah (O'Hare) and the son of the late Prescott and Gertrude (Kiff). Besides his wife of 47 years, he is survived by his children: Robin Sousa, Lynn (Timothy) Lynch, David (Dawn), Paul (Marilia), Karen (Mariusz) Barglowski, Kevin (Ana), and Brian. He also leaves behind a brother Norman, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Paul worked for the Metcalf, Mauran and Danforth families for over 50 years starting as an accountant and eventually taking over the day-to-day operations of the families' business. He also was instrumental in the founding of the Coastline Trust Company of which he remained Chairman of the Board until his passing. Calling hours on Thursday, October 28th from 2:00-4:00pm in the J.F. Skeffington Funeral Home and Cremations, 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.
