Paula Ann (Lukasiewicz) Folger

Paula Ann (Lukasiewicz) Folger of Providence, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the age of 71. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on March 13, 1954, she was the cherished daughter of the late John Lukasiewicz and Violet (Manasterska) Lukasiewicz.

Paula earned her doctorate in science and built a distinguished career as a biologist, where her intelligence, curiosity, and commitment to her field earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike. Her passion for learning and research reflected the thoughtful and compassionate person she was throughout her life.

Paula is survived by her brother John Lukasiewicz and niece Lisa Lukasiewicz.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Paula’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her family finds comfort in the many treasured memories she leaves behind.
