Phyllis A. (Murphy) John

104, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Courtland Place (Skilled Care Unit) Greenville. Born in Ware MA, she was the daughter of the late Sophia and Stanley Pisarczyk. She resided in Cranston, RI and West Palm Beach Florida. Phyllis was a graduate of the North Hampton Business College and was employed by the Veterans Administration Hospital in Providence until her retirement. She was an avid gardener, painter, seamstrss and loved to travel. Phyllis was the loving mother of Shelia M Ferraro and her husband Anthony M. Ferraro Sr. She has three grandchildren, Aileen M. Ferraro and her partner Glen Hopkins Jr. , Anthony M. Ferraro Jr. and his wife Osiris, and Christopher A. Ferraro and his wife Barbara; she also has four cherished great grandchildren, Qiana, Michael, Jordan and Taylor. She was aunt to several nieces and nephews from six deceased siblings. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10am in St Brigid's Church, 1231 Plainfield Street, Johnston, RI. Burial will follow in St Ann's Cemetery Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited.
