Raymond R. Holmes, 60, passed away September 19, 2019. Born in Providence he was a son of the late Warren J. and Josephine L. (Grant) Holmes.

Mr. Holmes was a Quality Control Inspector for Dubose National Energy Corp., in Clinton, North Carolina.

Ray will be missed by his family and many friends and coworkers. He always had a great sense of humor and was known for his puns and "Rayisms".

He is survived by three sisters; JoAnn Grillo, Mary Lou Sullivan and Maureen Zaino and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Sara JM Holmes and the brother of the late Warren Holmes, Jr., Thomas Holmes and Kathleen Marie Holmes.

Funeral service Friday September 27 th at 1:30 pm at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 118 Division St., East Greenwich, RI.  Burial will be in East Greenwich Cemetery, East Greenwich, RI Calling hours: Thursday September 26 th from 5-8 pm in the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich, RI.
