Raymond F. Rogers

64, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 12, 2012 with his family by his side. He was a resident of Narragansett, formerly of the Mount Pleasant section of Providence. He was the husband of Joan F. (Devine) Rogers. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Raymond F. and Anne J. (Canning) Rogers. He was a Regional Merchandise Supervisor for Rite Aid Corporation for 16 years before retirement. He enjoyed sports, gardening, the beach and doing crossword puzzles. Besides his wife he leaves two children, Brendan P. and Kayla E. Rogers. He was the brother of Robert P. and Paul J. Rogers. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church 114 High Street Wakefield, RI. Visiting hours in the J F Skeffington Chapel 925 Chalkstone Ave Providence Thursday 5:00PM - 7:00PM. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Wakefield. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI 143 Main Street, Wakefield, RI 02879.
